About Me

Maybe the most important thing you can know about me is that I exist, and I believe that is a great accomplishment. I am a senior in high school. I have been interested in being an artist for as long as I could use a crayon but began practicing on a daily basis when I was 12. I started off painting watercolor illustrations, which quickly expanded into a variety of mediums and a focus on birds and mental health. In the time I don't spend on school work, I enjoy bonding with my family (my mom, my sister, and our small rescue dog ). I also perform as an aerialist with my performance company. I'm close to my cousins, and my friends who encourage me to continue my passion for art. Through my artwork, I aim to communicate the importance of mental health and the difficulties caused by intense emotional reactions. I continue to make art to connect with other members of the human race, sharing my experience with trauma to make everyone feel a little less alone in their experience of life.
